Made without synthetic fragrance, synthetic dyes, parabens, silicones, PEGs, mineral oils, talc or phthalates. Never tested on animals.

The pencil is sustainably grown wood with a minimal colour varnish. Sharpen it and the shavings can go into your home compost or green bin.

The lid is 100% post-consumer recycled polypropylene. It is too small for kerbside recycling, so please use a recycling program such as TerraCycle™.

The box is FSC certified board, printed with vegetable inks and a water-based varnish, and goes into your kerbside recycling.

Separate the components and recycle each one thoughtfully.

How much coverage does it give?
Full. The pigment is high, so one or two strokes give true, opaque colour — not a wash.

How long does it last?
It is long wear. The high pigment load and the creamy-but-firm formula hold colour through the day. Dab it on rather than drawing it on and the deeper shades wear as a stain, which lasts longer again.

Will it bleed into the lines around my lips?
No — it is bleed-resistant. The natural silica and the firm wax structure keep pigment sitting on the lip rather than migrating into the fine lines around it, so the line you draw is the line that stays.

Does it replace my lip liner?
Yes. Use the tip to outline and shape, then fill. Unlike a conventional liner it will not drag or dry your lips.

Does it replace my lipstick?
Yes. Worn alone it gives full coverage and a soft demi-matte finish. Wear it with Lip Nourish to add depth and staying power, or to create your own signature colour.

How is it different from a traditional lip liner?
Conventional liners are hard and can drag and dry. Ours is creamy and high pigment — it glides on, stays comfortable, and fills the whole lip rather than just outlining it.

How is it different from Lip Nourish?
Lip Nourish is a hydrating lipstick balm — sheer, dewy, made for comfort. The Lipstick Crayon is high pigment and full coverage with a soft demi-matte finish, made to stay. Lip Nourish is not vegan; the Crayon is Vegan Australia Certified. Wear them together to customise your colour.

Do I need to sharpen it, and which sharpener?
Yes, occasionally. Use ours — it is designed for soft, creamy crayons and gives a rounded tip rather than a sharp point, which is what you want for shaping and filling lips. The shavings are compostable.

My crayon feels very soft. Can I still sharpen it?
Our crayons are deliberately creamy, so in warm weather they soften. Pop it in the fridge for a few minutes before sharpening and it will cut cleanly.

Can I use it anywhere else?
Yes — it is a multi-stick. Sweep it over cheeks for a flush, and use the lighter shades, Honey Peach and Lychee Sorbet, on eyes.

Can I buy samples?
No, we do not offer samples of the Lipstick Crayon as there is no sustainable way of doing so. We think all five shades suit most people.

Does it contain allergens such as gluten, soy, dairy or corn?
The Lipstick Crayon does not contain soy, gluten, dairy or corn. We do not intentionally use them in any of our products, but our products may be processed on equipment that handles them. (Lecithin from non-GMO soybeans is used in Lip Nourish, not in the Lipstick Crayon.)

I have dry or cracked lips. Can I use it?
Yes. Organic coconut oil, plant waxes, vitamin E and natural silica smooth and nourish lips without caking or drying.

Is it registered with the TGA or FDA?
No, the Lipstick Crayon is a cosmetic. While we use nutrient active ingredients, we do not make specific health claims, in accordance with local laws.
