Avocado Oil

REJUVENATING

Luscious avocado oil boasts a host of nutrients to feed skin, including Caretonoids Lutein and Zeaxanthin, Vitamins E, K and C, and a Vitmains B1, B2, B3, B5, Biotin, Folate and Potassium. It's brimming with essential fatty acids including linoleic acid and oleic acid, found to help skin retain elasticity, promote collagen production and encourage healing. Vitamin C delivers antioxidants to help fight free radicals that cause inflammation, dryness and tissue deterioration, while Vitamin E and biotin nourish and moisturise skin.

Cacao Butter

REJUVENATING

Abundant in essential fatty acids, antioxidants and anti-inflammatories, cocoa seed butter is an anti-allergen wonder ingredient that deeply soothes while preventing skin disorders. High in magnesium for healing, Vitamin K and Vitamin E, it rejuvinates and hydrates skin, while the rich quality offers a protective barrier to lock in moisture and prevent damage.

Kakadu Plum

ANTIOXIDANT

Kakadu Plum (Terminalia ferdinandiana) also known as Billygoat Plum, Gubinge, or Murunga, is an Australian native plant used for thousands of years by First Nations people. The fruit is rich in polyphenols gallic and ellagic acids, and has reportedly the highest levels of Vitamin C on the planet. This means it's an antioxidant powerhouse. Polyphenol antioxidants work as protective scavengers of cell damaging free radicals while brightening the complexion. Rich in phytochemical, which are favoured for anti-carcinogenic, anti fungal, antiviral and anti inflammatory properties. Gallic acid inhibits bateria and helps to reduce inflammation.

Marine(Seaweed) Collagen

ANTI-AGEING

Collagen production naturally declines in our bodies due to age and environmental factors. Marine collagen derived from seaweed is rich in minerals and vitamins, and rich in Type 1 collagen, is known to improve elasticity and fine lines in the skin. May also improve natural collagen synthesis. Topical application of marine collagen has been shown to improve hydration and elasticity. It may help protect against the free radicals that damage collagen, especially when combined with other antioxidant ingredients.

Pomegranate

Turmeric Root Oil

ANTI-INFLAMMATORY

Turmeric is a spice derived from the roots of the curcuma longa plant. It is widely known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties due to its key active ingredient, curcumin. To sustain a bright, youthful appearance, turmeric reduces redness and puffiness - especially under the eyes by working to reduce inflammation. Its antibacterial properties help fight acne and reduce skin pigmentation to keep skin smooth and glowing.

Rosehip Oil

CELL REGENERATION

Rosehip oil is pressed from the fruit and seeds of the rosa canina bush, originating in Chile. Abundant in natural fatty acids to moisturise the skin and encourage cell regeneration. Vitamin A and C deliver a host of antioxidant properties that may reduce evironmental damage, boost collagen and reduce fine lines. It is widely favoured for improving skin texture and reducing scars and marks.

Acacia Senegal Gum

Acacia Senegal Gum is a natural gum rich in complex polysaccharides and proteins. This ingredient offers excellent soothing and anti-inflammatory properties due to its high concentration of glycoproteins and nutrients. Its skin tightening effects promote a youthful appearance, while the natural complex sugars aid in hydration and skin health.

Almond Oil

NOURISHING

Extracted from pressed raw almonds, almond oil has been used for centuries to covet healthy skin. It has an impressive nutrient list including Flavonol glycoside antioxidants, Omega 6, Vitamin E, Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc. Glycoside and Vitamin E work together to scavenge free radicals and protect cells. Vitamin E also helps maintain skin elasticity, promote tissue repair and heal.

Apricot Oil

REJUVENATING

Rich in nutrients, proteins and unsaturated fatty acids, apricot oil is favoured for improving skin tone and softness, and rejuvinating skin. High levels of oleic acid help replace moisture, fight free radicals and soothe irritation while Vitamin E protects skin and promotes healing.

Argan Kernel Oil

Argan Kernel Oil is derived from the Argan tree. It's packed with omega fatty acids, Vitamin E, and linoleic acids, all of which moisturize the skin, soften dry patches, and reduce acne. Its rich tocopherol (Vitamin E) content gives it potent antioxidant properties that protect the skin against environmental stressors.

Balsam Copaiba Resin

Balsam Copaiba Resin is derived from the sap of the Copaifera tree native to South America. This resin is rich in beta-caryophyllene, a compound with strong anti-inflammatory properties, making it ideal for calming irritated skin and reducing redness. It also exhibits natural antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, which can help clear the skin and reduce the occurrence of breakouts. As an overall skin tonic, Balsam Copaiba Resin can help balance the skin, leaving it looking clear, healthy, and radiant.

Bamboo Stem Extract

Bamboo Stem Extract is a potent extract from the stems of bamboo plants. Rich in natural silica, an essential nutrient that boosts skin health by aiding collagen production. This helps improve skin's elasticity, strength, and sheen. The extract's antioxidant properties help protect the skin against harmful free radicals.

Beeswax

Beeswax has been used in skincare since Egyptian times. A natural anti-inflammatory and antibacterial agent favoured for treating and calming skin conditions like acne and eczema. Contains Vitamin A, to encourage cell turnover and collagen production. A soothing moisturiser for sensititve skin, delivering maximum hydration, luscious smoothness and a protective barrier to seal in moisture.

Beetroot

NATURAL TINT

This jewel-like vegetable cannot be BEET when it comes to nourishing your body. The rosy hue in beetroot is derived from pigments called betalains, used as a natural colour throughout history. Rich in Vitamins A, B and C and other minerals like magnesium, potassium and iron. Anthocyanin antioxidants in beetroot are favoured for alleviating inflammation and treating immune based skin problems like acne or psoriasis.

Benzyl Cinnamate

Benzyl Cinnamate is a compound naturally occurring in cinnamon and strawberries. It imparts a warm, spicy aroma and possesses antibacterial properties. This contributes to an invigorating scent and enhances the formula's stability.

Bergamot

Bergamot oil is cold-pressed from the rind of the bergamot orange fruit (Citrus bergamia). This beautiful oil has an uplifiting scent which may improve your mood. Several compounds in Bergamot, including Limonene and Pinene deliver antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits and may improve acne and inflammatory conditions of the skin.

Beta Carotene

Beta-carotene belongs to a group of coloured pigments called carotenoids. Our bodies convert beta carotene into vitamin A, which is essential for healthy skin. See also RADICARE®-GOLD Carotenoid Complex.

Bitter Orange Peel Oil

Bitter Orange Peel Oil extracted from the peel of bitter oranges, is rich in Vitamin C and flavonoids. These components provide strong antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, protect against damage from harmful free radicals, and can help promote an even skin tone.

Broccoli Seed

REJUVENATING

Broccolli seed oil is bursting with nutrients. Rich in fatty acids, yet lightweight, absorbing well into the skin. It is almost 50 percent erucic acid, a monunsaturated omega-9 fatty acid which plays a role in inflammatory response, promoting softness and creating a protective barrier. Vitamin A encourages skin renewal and rejuvination.

Cajeput

Native to Australia and Southeast Asia, Cajeput essential oil is distilled from the cajeput tree (melaleuca leucadendra). Known as a robust antiseptic and analgesic and often used to treat minor wounds, toothache and colds. Cajeput also has anti-inflammatory benefits which may improve psoriasis and acne.

Calendula

SOOTHING

Healing and soothing calendula is widely used as a natural anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial superstar. Extracted from the marigold flower (Calendula officinalis), it has been favoured for centuries for treating acne, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis and even nappy rash. It may also improve skin firmness and hydration.

Candelilla Wax

From the leaves of the candelilla shrub (Euphorbia cerifera), this plant-based vegan wax is rich in nutrients and gives lips a smooth satin finish. Softening and protective, acting as a barrier to lock moisture into the skin without clogging pores. Rich in Vitamin A, which promotes cell turnover. Also acts as a stabiliser and emulsifier to stop ingredients from expiring and separating.

Camellia (Green Tea)

ANTIOXIDANT

Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil (green tea) is extracted from the Camellia tree, native to Asia. A potent antioxidant abundant in polyphenols - working to keep collagen and elastin strong, for a tight and smooth complexion. The oil looks like liquid gold, and contains treasures like Vitamins A, B and E and essential fatty acids omega 3, 6 and 9 which help to repair and nourish. Phytosqualen, a structure similar to sebum, helps to restore the lipid barrier and hydrate dry skin.

Carrot Seed Oil

ANTIOXIDANT

Carrot seed oil is pressed from the seeds of the wild carrot flower head, Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota sativa). Polyphenols protect against free radicals that cause oxidative stress and cell damage. High in carotenoids - powerful antioxidants easily absorbed by skin. Favoured for its moisturising and protective benefits, and traditionally used to help heal boils and other skin infections.

Carmine

Carmine is a vibrant red pigment made from the cochineal beetle, native to America. It was first harvested by Aztecs, and is one of the few non-synthetic dyes which produces vibrant, intense shades and lasting colours ranging from red to pink.

Carnauba Wax

Carnauba wax is a plant-based, vegan wax derived from the leaves of the Carnauba Palm (Copernicia cerifera). A hypoallergenic ingredient that helps soften and nourish. A natural binder that assists lip products to glide on smoothly, creating a thicker formulation that prevents melting and sliding after application.

Castor seed oil

Castor oil is derived from the seeds of the Ricinus Communis plant. A source of ricinoleic acid, which has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties which may be beneficial for acne. With hydrating and protective essential fatty acids, castor seed oil locks in moisture, promotes healing and growth of healthy skin tissue, as well as reduce inflammation (including the redness of psoriasis).

Chamomile

CALMING

Chamomile has a long history in soothing skin care routines. Harvested from the chamomile flower, this extract is abundant in antioxidants including polyphenols and phytochemicals, favoured for encouraging cell and tissue renewal. Bisoprolol, chamazulene and apigenin found in chamomile soothes inflammation to combat redness. Also contains astringent and brightening properties which may help with hyperpigmentation.

Chia Seeds

ANTI-INFLAMMATORY

Chia seeds have been harvested by Aztecs for generations and is abundant with omega 3 and 6 fatty acids and linoleic acid. These healthy fats have been shown to be useful in treating dry skin, by replacing the moisture barrier. A high number of antioxidants can help to reduce inflammation and fight inflammatory damage that can cause wrinkles.

Chlorophyll

ANTI-INFLAMMATORY

The green goddess Chlorophyll is an antioxidant powerhouse that not only gives plants their colour, but may work wonders on skin. Favoured for anti-inflammatory and antibacterial benefits, studies have shown chlorophyll to be beneficial for acne, improving the overall appearance of pores, and escalating wound healing.

Cinnamon

ANTIOXIDANT

Cinnamon is a potent antioxidant with high levels of polyphenols, which helps skin neutralise free radicals, preventing them from causing damage and triggering inflammation. It may also encourage collagen synthesis, important for anti-ageing. Carotene, lutein and eugenol encourage a brighter complexion, tightening pores and smoothing skin while reducing inflammation. Citric Acid

Citric Acid is a natural preservative derived from citrus fruits. It's rich in Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin against free radicals and stimulates collagen production. It also helps to adjust the acidity of a product to prevent irritation and preserve the product's integrity.

Citronellol

Citronellol is a natural fragrance ingredient found in rose and geranium oils. It provides a fresh, floral fragrance to skincare products, adding to the overall sensory experience.

Coco-Caprylate/Caprate

Coco-Caprylate/Caprate is a skin-conditioning agent derived from coconut. It acts as a natural emollient, providing a smooth, non-greasy texture and barrier of hydration on the skin. Its fatty acid content helps nourish and replenish the skin.

Cocoa Seed Butter

Abundantly rich in fatty acids, antioxidants and anti-inflammatories, cocoa butter is an anti-allergen wonder ingredient. Widely known for hydrating and feeding the skin, to improve moisture and elasticity. Natural phytochemicals may improve blood flow to the skin, while preventing skin disorders. High in magnesium for healing.

Coconut Oil

Super nourishing coconut oil contains abundant fatty acids and high Vitamin E content to moisturise and protect skin from everyday damage, while smoothing out any fine lines. Lauric acid works to diminish bacteria, cleansing skin and maintain an illuminating complexion. Also acts as a gentle and softening exfoliant.

Coconut Sugar

CIRCULATION

Unrefined coconut sugar in fine granules gently exfoliates, buffing away dead skin cells. Natural humectants work to attract moisture. Also a natural source of minerals and nutrients, including phosphorous, calcium, iron, magnesium and potassium. Our finer granules are effective and less harsh than the larger-grained scrubs.

Coffee Seed Extract

Coffee Seed Extract comes from the Coffea plant and is loaded with antioxidants such as chlorogenic acid. It's also a rich source of caffeine that can enhance circulation, helping to improve skin tone and texture, while its antioxidant content protects against environmental stressors.

Copaiba balsam

Copaiba balsam is the oloresin (sap) extracted from the copaiba tree (Copaifera langsdorffii). Beta-caryophyllene in copaiba helps reduce inflammation, and may interact with cannabinoid receptors in the body, releasing beta-endorphins, AKA happy hormones for your skin. Also favoured as a potent anti-inflammatory with strong antibacterial properties to help reduce acne and promote a smooth skin tone.

Coriander Fruit Oil

Coriander (Coriandrum Sativum) antioxidants may protect skin from ageing and damage. A rich source of linolenic acid, an essential fatty acid which helps to hydrate and replenish the skin, and deliver anti-inflammatory benefits. Also anti-microbial, it could help skin disorders like eczema, dryness, and fungal infections.

Corn Starch

Cornstarch is derived from arrowroot, and is a lightweight natural alternative to chemical-based talcum. It is used to thicken formulations while maintaining a silky smooth texture.

Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil

Also known as Abyssinian Oil, it’s both hydrating and protective, with a velvety, non-greasy texture. It’s a natural anti-inflammatory and is high in omega fatty acids, promoting soft skin and acting as a protective barrier to prevent skin dryness. A natural alternative to mineral oils and silicones. Cucumber Seed Oil

Cucumber Seed Oil is derived from cucumber seeds and contains a high amount of linoleic acid, Vitamin E, and other beneficial nutrients that help nourish and hydrate the skin. It has strong anti-inflammatory properties, perfect for soothing irritation and reducing puffiness.

Eugenol

Eugenol is a natural compound found in clove oil and other essential oils. It's often used as a fragrance due to its spicy aroma and possesses potential antiseptic properties. Its antimicrobial benefits contribute to overall skin health.

Galbanum Resin Oil

Ferula Galbaniflua (Galbanum) Resin Oil is derived from the galbanum herb (Ferula galbaniflua) which produces a resin that has been used for centuries to make oil. It has a long history in healing wounds, supporting inflammation and skin disorders, as an anti-ageing remedy, and to heal scars and acne. Contains cadinene, cadinol, myrcene and pinene which may have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antiseptic benefits.

Geraniol

Geraniol is a naturally occurring fragrance ingredient in rose oil and citronella oil. Used mainly for its sweet, floral aroma, it also serves as an antimicrobial agent. It also contributes to the preservation of skincare products.

Geranium Flower Oil

Geranium essential oil use dates back to Egyptian times. More recently, its numerous natural chemicals have been proven to be antibacterial, antimicrobial and antiseptic, benefiting acne-prone skin and irritations such as dermatitis. Its anti-inflammatory benefits also help with inflammatory conditions of the skin.

Ginger Root Oil

Ginger root oil is derived from the flowering perennial Ginger (Zingiber officinale), and has been used for thousands of years in folk medicine. Potent antioxidants in ginger neutralise free radicals to reduce inflammation (especially from psoriasis and acne), prompting skin to heal itself and appear smoother, tighter and less red. A potent anti-microbial, it can also help to inhibit bacteria. Organic and cold-pressed to retain nutrients.

Mica

ILLUMINATING

Mica is a group of about 37 sillicate minerals which are ground into powder form. They can range in colour from silver to pink and even purple. Also known as 'nature's glitter,' mica helps to illuminate skin by reflecting light. Provides an instant glow and brightness to the complexion and natural shimmer. Creates a silky, blendable feel to your product.

Mint Oil

Organic, cold-pressed mint oil is a potent source of antioxidants including Vitamin C, carotene (a plant pigment), magnesium, copper, iron, potassium and calcium. Removes toxins from the skin while calming inflammation. Antibacterial properties protect lip health.

Noni Plant

The Noni plant is rich in antioxidants and nutrients including Vitamin C, A, flavonoids, potassium, linoleic, amino acids and phytonutrients, known for improving the appearance of skin tone and elasticity. It also has antibacterial and antifungal properties. See also Quora Noni™ Lysate Culture.

Olive Oil

Olive oil is good for you inside and out! Abundant in Vitamins A, E, D and K, it protects and nourishes gently, while helping to encourage cell regeneration and reduce inflammation. Also high in polyphenols which deliver some impressive anti-ageing antioxidant benefits to fight against free radical damage.

Orange (bitter + sweet)

Oranges are widely known to be rich in Vitamin C, so orange oil is an absolute powerhouse here. Helps to protect cell strength and structure, this antioxidant-rich oil helps maintain smooth, wrinkle-free skin and promote clarity and radiance. Antimicrobial properties may also reduce acne-causing bacteria. Organic and cold-pressed to retain nutrients.

Parsley Seed oil

Rich in Vitamin C and chlorophyll, parsley promotes collagen production, while acting to reduce free radicals. Vitamin K combats under-eye circles and pigmentation, while antimicrobial properties may be beneficial in combatting acne.

Pink Grapefruit Peel Oil

Vitamin C boosts collagen production while antioxidants fight free radicals that cause wrinkles, blemishes and discolouration. Grapefruit also increases the pH of the skin, which can help reduce spots and inflammation. Organic and cold-pressed to retain nutrients.

Quora Noni™ Lysate Culture

An active from the stem cells of Morinda citrifolia, or the native Australian Noni plant, Quora Noni™ re-balances skin microbiome, minimises blemishes and the look of pores, flights breakouts and inflammation for truly healthy skin, even after you take it off. It blocks the communication channels between microorganisms of the skin microbiota and the epidermal cells, in what’s called “dermohacking”. This improves the health and appearance of the skin by “hacking” the communication systems of potentially harmful skin microbiota and has benefits for those with skin conditions, such as psoriasis, rosacea, acne, atopic dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis, among others. Quora Noni™ is clinically proven to decrease sebum production by -29% on average at 30 days compared to placebo in acne prone 12-29 year olds; re-balance the microbiota of acne prone skin; and decrease the relative proportion of virulent bacteria (S. aureus & P. acnes) while maintaining the most favourable skin microbiota of the process (S. epidermidis). It’s also proven to reduce the lesions caused by acne by -15% on average compared to placebo, reaching up to -80% in the best case. The look of the skin is also improved decreasing the skin area with pores by -48 % on average compared to placebo, reaching up to -92 % in the best case.

RADICARE®-GOLD Carotenoid Complex

RADICARE®-GOLD Carotenoid Complex with beta carotene + xanthophylls + abyssinica seed oil is used for blu-light stress protection. RADICARE®-GOLD contains a blend of natural carotenoids from the freshwater alga Tetradesmus obliquus. It simulates the protective mechanism algae use to shield themselves against the oxidative stress caused by radiation. When used in our cosmetics, it acts as your personal Faraday shield – a barrier to oxidative stress from natural and digital radiation, such as high-energy visible light (HEV light, or blue light). This exclusive blend of carotenoids (the orange pigments found in food) with crambe abyssinica seed oil (high in omega-9) replenishes the valuable carotenoids of the skin barrier, helping protect skin from the premature ageing and improve skin resilience to the stressors of modern life.
