Green tea is rich in powerful antioxidants called polyphenols such as catechins, vitamin C, vitamin E, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, theanine, potassium, calcium, zinc, molybdenum and fluorine.

COOK:
Brewing time for green tea ranges from 30 seconds to five minutes. When using tea leaves, it is best to mix 1 teaspoon of leaves per every cup of water. Mix with some ginger, honey or lemon for delicious, exotic flavour.
TIPS:
Trial and error is key when perfecting your cup of green tea as it will largely depend on your personal taste. If it is brewed too hot or left for too long the tea will turn bitter, loosing is soothing flavour.
