An eyeshadow crayon is the easiest eye makeup to give, because the recipient can't get it wrong. No palette to learn, no brushes, no blending. One line along the lashes, smudge with a fingertip, done. The Luminous Eye Duo pairs a definer with a highlighter in four combinations, each matched to a different eye colour.
Why a crayon rather than a palette
Palettes are bought with enthusiasm and used twice. Most people wear the same two shades forever, which is why we made eight crayons rather than a compact of twelve. A duo gives you the two you'd actually reach for, and nothing you wouldn't.
The four gift pairings
| Set | Shades | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Golden Olive | Olive, a dark khaki green + Champagne, a warm honey gold | Green and hazel eyes |
| Warm Cocoa | Cocoa, a burnished bronze + Mushroom, a warm rosy taupe | Brown eyes, and the easiest everyday pair |
| Soft Smoke | Smoke, a soft charcoal + Pearl, a soft vanilla gold | Blue and grey eyes, or anyone who wears liner |
| Soft Taupe | Truffle, a deep soft brown + Sorbet, a light lid wash | The quietest of the four |
How the definer-and-highlighter pairing works
Every duo contains one shade that adds definition and one that catches light. Line and smudge with the definer along the lash line; sweep the highlighter across the lid, at the inner corner or under the brow. That's the whole technique, and it's why the guesswork is taken out before the box is opened.
The highlighters do more than eyes, too — Pearl and Champagne work on the cheekbone, the bridge of the nose, the cupid's bow and the jaw.
If you want the whole eye in one gift
Feast for Your Eyes pairs an eye crayon with a full-size Lash Nourish Mascara™ — Pearl with Black Tea, or Champagne with Espresso. Highlight and define, the complete eye in two steps.
Feast for Your Eyes in Champagne & Espresso
A warm honey gold with a black-brown mascara — softer than black, and especially flattering on fair and mature eyes.
