Our favourite summer stone-fruit is so nutritionally dense, it’s rapidly being known as “the queen of fruit”.

FOOD ACTIVES: High in fibre (a mango can contain up to 40% of your daily fibre!), vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium and iron.

BEAUTY BOOST:  Work mangos into your regular diet to keep your skin soft and glowing. They can even be used externally by applying the pulp on your skin for at least 10 minutes to help unclog pores and reduce breakouts. Mangoes will also lower cholesterol, regulate poor digestion and promote good eyesight due to their high fibre and vitamin A content – one cup of sliced mango supplies you with 25% of the daily vitamin A needs.

COOK: Make into a salsa (add lime zest & juice +/- chilli) or chutney to top on dinner dishes, work into a summer salad or add to your favourite dessert recipes (think sorbet, cake toppings, frozen yoghurt, pavlova or mousse!)

 TIP: For those of you who are physically active, whether working out or constantly on the go, mangoes are also a great way to replenish lost potassium, salts, vitamins and energy whilst also nourishing your skin.
